Stamping anniversary cards

A couple of anniversary cards.  I kept feeling that the card on the left ‘needed something’ so I have added some sequins since the I took the photo.

I made these using Clearly Besotted stamps and the March Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit. (I actually made these in April, but am only posting them here now. Yes I’m horribly behind in many aspects of life!)

Stamping is still very new to me. It’s not a craft I ever thought I would enjoy. However, with some practice I’ve found I like it more and more. I blame all the YouTube videos I have watched for making me want to try it! I actually do have a stack of cards that I’ve made and are waiting to be photographed. Hopefully I’ll get round to it before the summer is over!!

Supplies

Clearly Besotted Mr & Mrs stamp set

Simon Says Stamp March monthly card kit

Versafine Black Onyx ink

Pearls from stash

Cake

Who doesn’t love cake?! I went with a more delicate palette here than is usual for me. I like the result!

This page and yesterday’s page were both made by special request. If you have pictures lurking in a drawer or on your hard-drive or {gasp} still on your camera’s memory card I’d love to make pages for you too 🙂 Drop me a line and we’ll get started!

An anniversary card made with the Silhouette Cameo

I made this card using my brand new Silhouette Cameo – which you may have heard me singing the praises of just a little! I used the machine to design and cut the happy anniversary circle. I used the ‘Print and Cut’ feature {hello fabulous!} to make the tickets – which I designed with the recipient’s names on. I just love this machine!!!

I also used some digital scrapbook paper which came from Design House Digital.

Overall I was thrilled with the way it turned out. I hope my good friends were just as happy with it!
